I cried today. And I’m happy to say that it was a good cry. A happy and proud cry. I had the chance to go and support my friends’ daughter Josie shave her head in front of hundreds of people. Josie is a Leukemia survivor, and one of the most inspirational children I have ever met. She was a participant in the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which is an organization that donates money to cancer research for children. So to help celebrate Josie and her cause I went and took a few photos of her to share with everyone. This was too special of a story to keep to myself. I also included the letter that she shared with all of us explaining her reasons behind her decision. So, if you would like to feel a little inspiration read Josie’s letter and feel good that there are children out there as generous and courageous as she is. I’m also happy to say that Josie has been cancer free for 5 years.
These are for you Miss Josie, thank you for letting me take photos of your beautiful bald head!
